I mean, let's move back in

It's been a week since we've posted. Since then we've had tile installed on the backsplash, plumbing finished, and flooring installed!
The flooring was originally no more than an inconvenient necessity of this project. Turns out it's one of the highlights! The floors have been one of the more stressful parts of this project because of the mess left by the previous flooring install. A combination of hard working crews and agonizing over our selection of product has us blown away at the results. This picture was taken by Mia as she was playing with the camera. Still some trim work left but wow!

Being on a slab we went with a floating floor with thick padding underneath. The product is white oak engineered hardwood with a natural finish in 7.5" width and 0.5" height. Between shopping for flooring and taking pictures we've realized how hard it is to capture the true color and character of flooring with a photo. It's actually much lighter than it shows here.
Here's the backsplash. Amazing attention to detail by the tile crew.
