Is this the same house?

Things finished up this week with final paint and trim work followed by a good cleaning. We've started to bring our old furniture back from storage but have plans to refurnish with some new, more modern furniture. More to come on that.

We didn't remove all of the walls downstairs, only enough to open up the kitchen, dining, and TV rooms. We kept a private office, hall, and formal living room. The open floor plan was a long time coming. We used to chase each other in circles around these walls. Now we can gather together in this open space without shouting around the room.

Here are before/after pictures from the same locations we used before demo began. As you can see we never took the time to dial in our camera for indoor shots.

Some of these pictures didn't make sense when we took the "before" shots!

The room is pretty bare as we've only brought a few things out of storage.
