Almost time to rebuild!

The rest of the structural materials were delivered yesterday and the crew is finishing up demo on the flooring. Plumbing was roughed in and then partially demoed again as the PM said they didn't follow his instructions and an inspection wouldn't pass. They're coming back next week for a redo. The main steel support was dropped off yesterday. I can't wait to see how they get this thing in the house. That 2x4 under Mia (and the beam) was the "padding" as they dropped it on the driveway. No harm done.

The closet in the dining room is gone for now. It's going to be rebuilt at about half the depth to reclaim some wasted space for the dining room. The dining room is on the left in this picture. The studs are temporary walls.

These stubborn floors are almost gone. The kids are not fans of all the hammering.
