They used what kind of glue?

The crew started later in the day today as they were waiting for a machine to help chip away at these floors that have been glued down with, well, not flooring glue. They made a bit of progress but they're probably going to have to find something more powerful. Progress may slow for a bit while they make their way around the house removing the flooring. The glue will probably also have to be removed or covered up as it's still tacky to the touch.
We found a materials list written on the back of a piece of scrap drywall. The materials are for building the temporary wall to support the second floor while the steel beams are installed. Also there are some pieces of LVL to hold the beam and replace the header over the back door. More to come on the structural plans in a later post. Everything on the list was delivered this morning and is ready to go.
Here's what the floors look like as the demo crew chips away.
